Childhood exposure to domestic violence can increase the chances of children being traumatized. Traumatization can cause a ripple effect of behavioral problems. That may include but is not limited to physical, phycological, academic, and risky behaviors.


Be Informed

Fact 1: Approximately 1.5 million children in the United States live in a household where domestic violence has occurred at least one time in the past year.

Fact 2: 7 million children live in households in which severe domestic violence has occurred.
